DOMUS & HORTUS ARTIS 2025

Originally a summer open-air festival of chamber classical music in the garden of Dom Albrechtovcov, Hortus artis has this year joined forces with its indoor counterpart, Domus artis, to create a six-month festival event called Domus & Hortus artis 2025. The summer part of the festival takes place in the popular setting of the garden of Dom Albrechtovcov at Kapitulská Street No. 1 in Bratislava, on a site that belonged to the Albrecht family of musicians from 1945 to 1996. The programme of this year's temporally and dramaturgically expanded event comprises 16 concerts of chamber classical music for various formations and ensembles. The common thread running through this year's edition, in terms of dramaturgy, is an emphasis on French music and its influence on other European cultures, including Slovak culture.
