DOMUS ARTIS 2024

Domus artis 2024 is the first edition of the spring chamber music festival held inside Dom Albrechtovcov. It forms a counterpart to the well-established summer open-air festival Hortus artis, which we organize in the garden of Dom Albrechtovcov. Domus artis expands the range of music performed at the Albrechts' to include works accompanied by piano, presenting rarely performed works of Slovak chamber music, works by composers whose lives were or are inseparably linked to Bratislava and Slovakia, key chamber opuses by world-renowned composers, and little-known works from both earlier musical history and the present day. Our aim is to bring the tradition of bourgeois chamber music-making in an authentic setting closer to the Bratislava public and visitors to the city, and to continue these traditions.
